This illustrated matchbook was created as a design exercise in learning to craft illustrations based on their intended placement and use. The design features fluid, organic forms and layered textures that create a sense of quiet connection. The merging green and red patterns evoke warmth and familiarity, while the abstract illustration of intertwined figures reflects the subtle closeness of shared space. The halftone treatment and balanced color palette reinforce the tactile, intimate feel of the piece.
